15th MONTE CARLO HISTORIC RALLY
New departure cities this year

Barcelona (Spain), Glasgow (Scotland), Oslo (Norway), Reims (France), Turin (Italy) and Warsaw (Poland) are the six towns chosen as departure cities for the Concentration Run of the 15th Monte Carlo Historic Rally.
In another important change, the event will start on Saturday 28th January and will finish in Monaco, one week later, on Saturday 4U1 February 2012.

All competitors will drive to Barcelonnette, on Tuesday 31st January, for a Time Control, before continuing to Col de Larche and Col de Tende in Sospel, for the start of the 1st Regularity Test (Sospel/Col de r Able I Col de rOrme I Luceram).
Drivers are expected to arrive in Monaco early afternoon and will proceed to the Parc Ferme on Quai Albert 1 er.

Wednesday 1st February, dawn start on Quai Albert l er for the Monaco-Valence Classification Leg, with 4 regularity tests scheduled that day, and the end-oi-Ieg Parc Ferme at Champ de Mars in Valence:
* Le Mas I Col de Bleine I Les Quatre Chemins (Alpes-Maritimes)
* Time Control in Tallard (Hautes-Alpes)
* Sigoyer I Barcillonnette I Col d'Espreaux (Hautes-Alpes)
* Chichilianne I Col de Menee I Les Nonieres (Isere)
* La Cime du Mas I Col de l'Echarasson I Col de Gaudissart (Drome)
* Regrouping Park in Saint Nazaire en Royans (Drome) late afternoon, before the finish in Valence.

Thursday 2nd February, Group Leg (Part 1) will be a Valence-Valence 320km loop, comprising 4 regularity tests, all Monte classics, on the roads oi Ardeche.
* St Pierreville 1St Julien du Gua I Antraigues sur Volane
* Burzet I Lachamp-Raphael I Domas
* Time Control in Saint-Agreve
* Freydaparet I Rochepaule I Col du Buisson
* Lamastre I Gilhoc sur Ormeze I Plats
* Time Control in Tournon sur Rhone, then end-oi-Ieg Pare Ferme in Valence, from 3.30 p.m. onwards.

Friday 3,d February, break-oi-dawn start for Group Leg (Part 2), Valence - Monaco, 400 km including 2 regularity tests:
* St Nazaire Ie Desertl Chalancon I Col de Pommerol IRosans (Drome - Hautes Alpes)
* Pierlas I Col de la Sinne I IIonse (Alpes-Maritimes)
* Time Control in La Turbie (Alpes-Maritimes)
Competitors reach Monaco in the early afternoon and proceed to the Parc Ferme on Quai Albert l er.

The same evening is the start of the Monaco-Monaco Final Leg - 250km on the country roads behind Nice and Menton, with three stages that conclude the rally:
* Moulinet I Col de Turini ILa Bollene-Vesubie (Alpes-Maritimes)
* Pont de Clans I Tournefort I Massoins I Villars sur Var (Alpes-Maritimes)
* Lantosque I Loda I Col St Roch I Col de Braus (Alpes-Maritimes)

Official publication of the results will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday 4tll February, and to bring a close this most celebrated of historic rallies, all competitors will gather for the gala ceremony at the Monte-Carlo Sporting d'Ete.
